These guidelines are designed to assist advertisers in putting together their materials for Onscreen Slide production. Please look them over carefully. If you are not familiar with some of the terms used, just ask us and we'll be glad to explain our design process to you. The most effective OnScreen ads consist of a single color photo shot by a professional or obtained from a studio which shows your product or business at its absolute best (you are responsible for your own photo production-call us for recommendations). You have the option of using up to a total of three photos. If you are using images other than those you or your photographer have produced, you must have a signed release from the copyright holder before said materials can be used or have proof that they are royalty-free images (such as clip-art).

Please observe these guidelines:

  1. Please indicate any special design elements you may require such as arrows, bullets or colors.
  2. All photos and graphics (i.e. logos) must be approved by Brenden Theatres. 5" x 7" to 8 1/2" x 11" prints or digital files are preferable. If your artwork is in another format additional processing charges may be incurred.
  3. If your artwork is in a computer file format you can e-mail it to theatread@aol.com or mail it on a burned CD to the address below. Approved computer file formats are: Adobe Illustrator CS or lower (outline all fonts, please), Adobe Photoshop CS or lower, BMP, TIFF, GIF or JPEG images. Please be advised that all image files should be 5" x 7" or larger and have a resolution of 300 DPI. Feel free to use compression software. If you'd like your artwork/Disks returned please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
  4. All text (not including any logo or address text) should be approximately 25 words or less.
  5. We recommend that you include an offer of some sort that involves Brenden ticket stubs (ex. 10% discount with Brenden Stub). This is a proven method for tracking the success of your advertisement. Please keep in mind that the more aggressive your offer is, the more effective your ad will be.
  6. If you are a professional designer who is providing the finished creative for our 35mm slide program, please note that you only need to provide the live area (9.5" wide x 5.3" tall) in JPEG (RGB) format at 300 dpi. E-mail it to the address below with all billing contact info in the body of the e-mail.
  7. If you are submitting animations or video, approved formats are: Windows Media 9 or lower, Avi, Mpeg2, Mpeg 4, Quicktime & Flash. The animation specs are:
  8.            Frame Rate:  29.97 fps

               Dimensions: 1280 x 720 or higher

               Format:  16:9
